She Went On A Trip With Her Fiancé Only Her Fiancé Returns
Gabby Petito is a 22-year-old van-life blogger and Instagrammer from New York who went missing during a cross country road trip with her boyfriend, Brian Laundrie. She was reported missing on September 11th, 2021, by her mother.
Background
Gabby and Brian started dating in March of 2019 and the couple moved to North Port, Florida, where they lived together in Brian’s parents’ house. They got engaged in July of 2020.
The cross-country trip
After converting Gabby’s 2012 Ford van, Gabby and Brian embarked on the four-month cross country road trip on July 2nd 2021 which was Gabby’s dream. They departed from Blue Point, New York and the trip was expected to end in October in Oregon. Gabby documented their trip on her Instagram.
